Thai massage can be described as mindful touch bodywork. It is a spiritual practice – a meditation in motion; the application of loving kindness.
Thai massage is like a dance between practitioner and receiver through the art of mindful touch. Palms, thumbs, forearms, hands and feet are used to rock, twist and stretch the body. Thai massage promotes general health and well-being. It can improve posture, breathing, flexibility, digestion and circulation.
Thai massage is a holistic therapy and is beneficial in the treatment of specific conditions such as: headaches, lower back pain, digestive disorders, shoulder and neck tension, joint pain, insomnia and stress related conditions.
During and after a session the receiver may experience a deep sense of peace and relaxation.
