Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage

Gaynor Almond is now offering Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD), an award-winning reflexology technique which focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. The aim is to cause an effect on the lymphatic system in the body. It is a unique sequence that has been researched and developed by Sally Kay BSc(Hons), whilst working in Cancer Care, to help with the management of lymphoedema for patients affected by treatment to breast cancer. It may help all forms of lymphoedema, both primary and secondary.

Lymphatic drainage massage (MLD) is used to treat conditions other than lymphoedema, and RLD may be used similarly to treat the following conditions:

  • Arthritis
  • Asthma
  • Eczema
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Fibromyalgia
  • ME
  • Sinus problems
  • Migraines
  • Headaches
  • Muscular tension
  • Aches and pains
  • Premenstrual Syndrome
  • Oedema

Please be aware RLD is NOT SUITABLE for clients with

  • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
  • Kidney failure
  • Cellulitis
