Pregnancy can be a time of great emotional and physical shifts. Pregnancy massage can greatly support the natural process of pregnancy and allows the mother time to connect and focus on herself and her baby.
Carried out predominantly in side position with the use of bolsters. It is a very safe, nurturing and relaxing full body massage including face and scalp, that incorporates elements of shiatsu and breathing techniques. It can address common issues in pregnancy such as lower back discomfort and shoulder tension, sciatica, stress and anxiety.

Laura has been a complementary therapist for over 15 years and has worked in numerous spas and natural health settings. Her qualifications include a masters degree in spa management, a BA (hons) degree in complementary therapy, shiatsu, VCTC level 3 holistic therapies (massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, holistic facials), postgraduate diplomas in pregnancy massage, Indian head massage, skincare & facials, baby massage, baby yoga, yoga teacher (240 hr yoga alliance) and pregnancy yoga (92 hour yoga alliance). She is a member of the federation of holistic therapists.
Laura has a particular interest in supporting women throughout pregnancy, particularly since the birth of her own daughter, and has recently furthered her study in pregnancy massage with the Wellmother advanced pregnancy massage training with Suzanne Yates.
About Julie Smith
Julie Smith is a Registered Nurse with 20 years experience in various clinical and management settings. Over the years she became very interested in the holistic approach to healing and the power of touch to assist in the healing process and general well being. Julie qualified in massage therapy in 2003 and has gone on to develop her skills and interest in this field, as well as achieving qualifications in MLD.
About Kelly Clinton
Kelly has a BSc Honours Degree in Sport Rehabilitation from the University of Salford. (2011) and a Diploma in Sports Therapy from the University of Huddersfield. (2008) As part of her degree course Kelly also studied Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. She has gained additional qualifications in Acupuncture and Shiatsu and is also trained in the application of Kinesiology tape.
