The philosophy of care undertaken by our podiatrists attempts to give the client the feeling of self empowerment when it comes to their own foot care.

Our podiatrists provide a full comprehensive musculoskeletal (biomechanical) assessment of foot problems. Foot pain or lower limb pain can be caused by many different factors associated with tendons, muscles or bones. The problem can manifest itself in the foot by swelling, inflammation, callus, corns, wounds or injury.

Our treatment aims to find the root cause of your foot, knee or lower limb problems, and give treatment and advice accordingly. We will provide a full and thorough foot assessment even for the smallest problems. This is more than just conventional chiropody treatment – it is a holistic approach to your foot care. We aim to exceed your experience of what a chiropodist can do for your feet.

Rachel E McGlynn
Specialist Podiatrist
BSc (hons) Podiatric Medicine MinstChP
My love for Podiatry started when I was younger I damaged my toe and had to see a Podiatrist to solve my problem. Ever since my own traumatic incident which involved stubbing my toe (we’ve all done it)  I’ve always been fascinated with foot health.
I graduated in 2013 from the University of Salford with honors. My time in Podiatry has been exciting and certainly challenging but I love my job so it’s a challenge I’m happy to accept. I love problem-solving, no two feet are the same therefore I always tailor each treatment to the individual.
I’ve worked in Singapore mainly seeing tropical diseases, skin conditions, and ingrown toenails.  I then worked in Dubai in a luxury medical spa offering bespoke podiatry treatments. Most recently and most importantly getting used to the lovely weather again. I split my time between  Private and NHS, where I’m a Specialist Podiatrist.
When it comes to feet nothing phases me whether it is an ingrown toenail, painful corn, verrucae, or aches and pain in your feet. I offer a friendly approach
using the latest techniques.
During my spare time, I like to keep fit and active,(people say I look young so I’ll take that as a compliment!),  read books and drink lots of coffee.
