The Breast Awareness clinic can predict your risk of developing breast cancer through our Breast Cancer Risk Assessment. This looks at lifestyle, genetics and other risk factors that gives you your individualised risk. The average risk in the UK is 1 in 8 however every individuals risk is different and at the breast awareness clinic we can calculate that risk.
Early detection of breast cancer saves lives. This is a well published fact. If you find a breast cancer sooner your outcome is better. Therefore if you are examining regularly and effectively you’re more likely to pick up an issue. Here at the breast awareness clinic we teach self breast examination as well as providing a breast examination. We show you what’s normal compared what’s abnormal as well as taking the time to compassionately listen to your fears and concerns.
The clinic is open to those who wish to explore a previous diagnosis of breast cancer, family history of breast cancer, genetics, breast exanimation and any other breast health concerns you wish to discuss.

She can advise on how likely you are to develop breast cancer in your lifetime. To improve the accuracy of this prediction, She offers a genetic (saliva) test to assess risk and create a personalised risk-reduction strategy.
