 Homeopathy
is 200 year old system of healing which assists the natural tendency
of the body to heal itself. It recognises that all symptoms of ill
health are expressions of disharmony within the whole person and
that it is the patient who needs treatment not the disease.
Homeopathic remedies work by stimulating the body’s own healing
power, by giving the patient a minute dose of a substance which
in large doses would cause the problem being treated. The remedy
prescribed will take account of you as a person, your characteristics
emotionally as well as physically.
Homeopathy is particularly appropriate for long term, chronic health
problems, and is helpful for a wide range of health concerns,
for example:

Homeopath
Jenny began her professional life as a nurse, with particular experience
in intensive care, oncology and haematology. She has been a health
visitor since 1991. She passionately believes that people will heal
if they harness their own desire and determination.
Jenny trained at the North West College of Homeopathy in Manchester.
Her desire for the future is to extend homeopathy to be available
to everyone, whilst wishing to work alongside conventional medicine.

Homeopath
Irene is a registered homeopath who has a particular interest in
stress, anxiety and grief related disorders and how the physical
body interacts with the emotional and spiritual self. She qualified
from the Northern college of Homeopathic Medicine in Gateshead,
Tyne & Wear, in 2003 and was previously a primary and language teacher
and freelance translator.
Having been successfully treated by conventional surgery to remove
a brain tumour in 1996, she is living proof of the effectiveness
of homeopathic medicines to restore health and maintain well being.
She has recently embarked on a training programme to become a Human
Givens Counsellor which supports and promotes emotional health and
clear thinking.
